Dr. Olive is a contributing faculty member in the College of Education and Leadership at Walden University. She currently serves on several Editorial Boards for leading disability research journals. The author of 26 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, Missy also has a strong interest in family issues related to children with disabilities. Since 1993, she has cared for and advocated on behalf of her brother, Mac, an adult with autism and an intellectual disability. Missy has recently begun providing consultation, training, and intervention services through her company, Applied Behavioral Strategies.
